Do you worry about your balance?
As we get older, balance becomes more important - but also harder to maintain. A bad fall can throw your life off track for weeks, months, or even years (not to be dramatic, but it’s true!).
Here’s a quick way to practice balance with no equipment at all - just while the kettle boils:
Stand on one leg, with your fists lightly resting on the bench in front of you (or, for a challenge, no hands at all).
Hold for as long as you can, then swap sides.
To make it harder, try closing your eyes (this will be tougher than you think - but please, don’t do it with a hot cuppa nearby!).
It doesn’t have to be complicated. Little moments like this really add up to better balance and confidence in everyday life.
Want more simple moves that make a big difference?
Join me for my FREE live class: “3 Simple Secrets to Moving with Ease Again” on October 15, 16 or 17.
I want to show you how simple movement can really be, right from the comfort of your own home. This class is beginner friendly and will leave you feeling inspired and motivated for more!
Don’t forget to practice those balance moves next time you boil the kettle - I wonder how long you can REALLY stand on one leg, with your eyes closed?!
